Flooring & underfloor heating
Invisible luxury.
You don't feel underfloor heating. You just notice winter feels less cold, and that there's no radiator in sight anymore.
Underfloor heating
Three systems.
One right choice.
Which system fits your situation depends on the floor build-up, the heat source and the top floor type. Honest advice, including what we'd recommend against.
Fast, thin, local.
Heating mats directly under tile or laminate. Fast warm-up, low build height (3-5 mm). Ideal for bathrooms, kitchens and renovations where you don't want to break floors open.
Routed into existing floor.
Grooves routed into the existing screed, pipes inserted, done. No new substrate needed. Perfect for heritage homes or where the floor must stay thin.
In self-leveling screed.
Pipes on an insulation plate, self-leveling screed on top (typically 60-80 mm). Maximum performance, suitable for heat pump as primary heat source. Ideal for renovation or new build.
Floor types
Four categories.
Endless finishes.
From oak hardwood to Italian natural stone. Each option has its own character, usage and maintenance profile. We'll guide the choice down to the detail.
Solid oak, walnut, smoked.
Solid or multi-layer. Warm, living, can be maintained without replacement. Compatible with underfloor heating (with proper regulation). Herringbone, planks or straight. We lay it fresh.
Natural stone or porcelain.
Hard, cool, stain-resistant. Marble, slate, travertine for character. Large-format porcelain (up to 320×160 cm) for minimal joints. Best partner for underfloor heating.
Modern, quiet, waterproof.
Click or glue-down vinyl with wood or natural-stone look. Sound-dampening, waterproof, easy maintenance. Premium brands only (Moduleo, Quick-Step Livyn, Mflor), not big-box rubbish.
Budget-friendly, quick to lay.
Good look for less money. Not waterproof, not eternal, but for bedrooms and hobby rooms it's fine. We only install high-grade series (AC4+ wear class).
